As at 31 July 2022, India's total installed wind power capacity was 42.6 GW, the fourth largest in the world. India is increasing its wind capacity at an accelerated rate with the Central Electricity Authority targeting 100 GW of installed wind capacity by March 2030.
We are evaluating hybrid power projects that harness wind and solar energy, which will provide more firm power to keep up with the rapid industrialisation of India. Aright is working towards establishing additional efficient projects for the betterment of the environment by utilising wind resources in the states of Rajasthan, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu.
